Drama Club and Musical

Who: Mr. Mathias in Room 224

What: Support arts and drama at LHS—part of thespians-educational theatre association.

Where: Room 224 The next meeting is October 22nd after school. New members are always welcome! See you Thursday!

The 9th Grade Class


Who: Mrs. Reiber, Guidance Office

What: 9th Grade Class Officers will help with Social and Fund Raising Activities for the class

The Sophomore Class



Who: Mrs. Albanese

What: Sophomore Class Officers will help with Social and Fund Raising Activities for the Sophomore class

The Junior Class

Who: Ms. Aiello Room 219

What: A Junior class officer is a representative for thier class during their Junior year.  They head up the Junior class fundraiser and they work directly with the Senior class in planning, setting up, and cleaning up for prom. 

When: We meet at least once a month.

Where: Room 219

How: As a Junior, sign up to run for President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer.  Once approved you will be asked to campaign and then your class will vote.  If you receive the most votes, you will be appointed to the class office you ran for.



Color Guard

Who: Debbie Voight

What: A dance oriented activity that enhances the visual part of the marching band program.  While in Color guard you will learn how to spin a flag, rifle (not a real gun…) and a saber.

When: The first information meeting is at the end of February, Early March. There will be announcements in February.



Book Club

 Who: Mrs. Black and Mrs. Henderson

What: We read and discuss young adult novels.


How: Contact Mrs. Black (104) or Ms. Streetman (169) and listen to announcements for the next meeting time.

What: FCCLA stands for Family Consumer Career Leaders of America and proud to be called the Ultimate Leadership Experience. As a group we are going to work to develop a school wellness program. Students will also have the opportunity to compete against other High School students state wide in a variety of different areas.

National Honor Society

Who: Mrs. Wooten and Mr. DiDomenico

What: The Lancaster High School Chapter of the National Honor Society honors students who are outstanding in scholarship, leadership, service and character.  Membership is never considered on the basis of grades alone; membership is gained by demonstrating outstanding performance in all four criteria of scholarship, leadership, service and character.

How: To be eligible students must be a junior or senior, have been a student at Lancaster High School at least one full semester prior to the October selection, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.400.

Lancaster High School Ecology Club

Advisor: Mr. Barath


To promote ecological awareness among the students of Lancaster High School, and in the community as a whole.


Open to all students currently enrolled at Lancaster High School.


Members are required to participate in at least one meeting/paper collection per semester and to attend at least one other Ecology Club sponsored event per year.



Who: Ms. Morgan, Cosmetology Lab

What: SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives; working together to ensure America has a skilled work force. It provides quality education experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development. It builds and reinforces self-confidence, work attitudes and communications skills.

When:  During some activity periods, outside of school, listen for announcements

How: Join a Career Tech program at LHS and become a member.


The National FFA Organization

Who: Mrs. Neff, Room 404

What: FFA is the student organization for students who are enrolled in any Agricultural Education Course

When: Year round! Activity periods, afterschool, and as needed

How: Enroll in Agricultural Education and pay your FFA dues!
