Jessica Reiber is in her fifth year as a school counselor at Lancaster High School. She advises students on all levels; personal/social, academic, career, and college planning. She is excited to be developing programming for the freshman level, including classroom lessons and “Frosh Fest”.
Mrs. Reiber earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Childhood Education from Capital University in 2005 and completed a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling at The Ohio State University in 2008.

Mary Jo Wooten is in her sixth year as a school counselor at Lancaster High School. She was a mathematics teacher for 17 years at Lancaster High School before becoming a counselor. She advises students on all levels; academic, career, college and social/emotional. She is primarily responsible for the students with last names E-J and the junior class programming.
Mrs. Wooten earned her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education at Ohio University in 1990 and her Masters of Education in School Counseling at Ohio University in 1995.

Renee Theiss is in her sixth full year as a school counselor at Lancaster High School. She started at Lancaster High School as a business education teacher in 1985. She works with students in grades 9-12 with last names K-P. She assists these students on their social/emotional, academic, career, and college goals. Mrs. Theiss is responsible for senior class programming.
Mrs. Theiss earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from The Ohio State University in 1984 and completed a Master of Science degree in School Counseling from the University of Dayton in 1991.

Sarah Collins is in her seventh year of working as a school counselor and her fifth working for Lancaster City Schools. She works with students with last names Q-V on social/personal, academic, and transition planning. She is enthusiastic about working on transition programs for freshman students as well as coordinating programming for sophomores.
Mrs. Collins earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences from Ohio University in 2004 and completed her Master of Education degree in School Counseling in 2006 from Ohio University.

Sharon Weaver has been with the LHS Guidance Department for 22 years and currently serves as Guidance Department Coordinator. She is responsible for providing personal, career and college guidance for students last names W-Z.
Mrs. Weaver completed her Bachelor of General Studies degree at Ohio University in 1975 and her Master of Education at Ohio University in 1977. She worked as an Education Specialist at New Horizons for eight years and as a School Counselor at Northern Local for five years before joining the LHS staff.

Vicki Lifer has worked in the Guidance Department for the past 16 years and has worked at the high school for 19 years. She assists students and staff in a variety of ways, including assisting with organizing the OGT and registering new students. She is the primary Office Assistant for the Guidance Office.

Julie Hutchison has been an Office Assistant for Lancaster City Schools since August, 1997. Mrs. Hutchison joined the Guidance Department in 2008. She processes transcript requests, graduation verifications, SSI claims for past students, administers locker assignments, withdraws students transferring to other districts, coordinates Interim and Grade Card processing, and is the liaison for the DASL student information system.
