ONN recognizes the importance of education in Ohio, and provides a unique opportunity to honor teachers who have a special impact in their school and community. We are proud to announce a community initiative from Westfield Insurance and Ohio News Network called the "Westfield Insurance Teacher of the Month." This unique service award will recognize teachers throughout Ohio for their remarkable acts of selflessness and willingness to serve their school and community.
We encourage students, parents, and administrators to take the time to nominate a special teacher in their district. Nomination forms are found online at www.ONNtv.com and www.sharedriveexcel.com. Each month during the school year, ONN will acknowledge one teacher in Ohio who has been nominated by a student, parent or other educator. The teacher will receive a plaque from Westfield Insurance and ONN and a new vignette will be created about the teacher that will air on ONN. The winner will be announced the third Monday of every month during the school year.
