WALL OF FAME FOR ACCELERATED READER TAKES OFF!

Tarhe students in grades 2-5 are diligent readers. This year we are making a bigger than usual push for students to read AR books as often as possible. Having our students read accelerated reader books helps them grow independently as readers. When a child reads a book, they take a quiz on that book before moving on to the next one. In addtion, an AR Wall of Fame has been established. Each time a child reads a book and successfully completes the quiz also earn a designated number of points for that book. Students who successfully earn 10 points or more have their name put on the "Wall of FAme" in the front foyer. Essentially, every child in grades 2-5 has the opportunity to earn points and have their name on the wall. In addition to earning a spot on the wall of fame, student will also recieve additional incentives in the form of key chains, certificates, an special parties from their teachers. Reading is extremely important and we want to make sure that every child does thier best to grow and make gains in reading all year! Ask your child if they have their "AR" book!
