Principal's Message

Tallmadge Elementary is one of eight elementary schools that feed into two Junior High Schools in the Lancaster City School District. Tallmadge earned an EFFECTIVE Rating in the 2009-2010 school year, meeting Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) for the third year in a row. As principal of Tallmadge Elementary, I can tell you our staff and students gave our best effort last spring. In the new school year, our goals are higher still. Our quest is to Expect Excellence and attain a perfect building rating this spring! As the academic year rolls along, Tallmadge students are gaining momentum. 
Under our code of conduct where we are creating classroom HEROES every day,  students are engaged at a whole new level! In 2009-2010, we will pin our high expectations on Honesty, Effort, Respect, Ownership, Excellence and Safety. We will utilize emerging technology, inovative teaching methods and a genuine care for our students, striving to generate Raving Fans of Tallmadge Elementary.
