May Principal’s Message
Congratulations to the entire General Sherman community on the completion of the OAAs. The students had tremendous focus and attendance for the OAAs, which gives us the best chance for the results which we have become accustomed. The best way to sum up our feelings about the OAAs comes from an Aristotle quote, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act, but a habit”. This is a tremendous credit to all students, parents, staff and support systems of General Sherman.
We only have a few weeks left of school, so make sure to check our calendar to see all the exciting events our students are participating in this month. We have our last dance for all students, our walkathon, the 8th grade honor dance, honor day and night programs, band concerts, and choir concerts. We will end the month with our pool days at Valley View the last three days of school.
This month will fly by and we will be saying goodbye to another successful group of 8th graders.
