Junior High Construction Update 3/20/19

At Thomas Ewing, the first coat of paint and the domestic water lines are complete in the single story classroom section of the building.  The entryway steel roof deck has been installed while domestic water lines and metal roof are being installed in the main entrance section.  On the first floor of the two story classroom section, drywall has been installed, electric lines are being pulled, and concrete block walls are being prepared for painting.  On the second floor, domestic water lines, drywall, and electrical rough ins are being installed.  The sprinkler system is roughed in and HVAC water pipes are installed in the gymnasium section while metal roof and outdoor chiller installation is in progress.  In the cafeteria section, HVAC water pipes are installed while metal roof and sprinkler system rough in continues.

At General Sherman, the concrete slab floor has been poured for the first floor of the two story classroom section of the building.  On the second floor, the south exterior concrete masonry wall is complete; the east and west walls are being erected.  The floor is being prepared for a concrete pour in the main entrance section and water pipe hangars are being installed.  In the single story classroom section, toilet carriers, steel columns, beams, and bar joists are being installed.  On the grounds, pathways for electric lines for lights and cameras are being prepared.
