The Lancaster City Schools’ Board of Education recently recognized Crossroads.TV, Company Wrench, Fairfield Medical Center and Raising Canes for their firm’s strong support of the district’s schools.
The companies were honored as part of the Ohio School Boards Association’s (OSBA) 2017 Business Honor Roll program. The program gives school districts a way to say “thanks” to local businesses and recognize them for their valuable contributions to schools. A personalized certificate was presented to the businesses.
“All of these businesses are strong supporters of the district,” said Steve Wigton, Superintendent. “Some examples of their contributions include providing free shoes for every student in two of our elementary schools, paying the balance of unpaid student lunch bills for first semester, providing physicians, nurses and medical technicians assistants for free athletic physicals grades 7-12 and providing awards for our high school team GPA and student of the month.
Lancaster City School District and its students, board members, administrators and staff would like to express their sincere appreciation for all that they do for the children of our community.”
